Soulgood was founded in 2012 in Dallas, Texas by Cynthia Nevels, Jeremy Nelson and Tyler D. Nelson. The company started as a pop up kitchen at the Dallas Farmers Market on October 31, 2014 with the help of crowdfunding with donations from friends and family and investment from the founders. The company’s mission is to save the planet, people and animals one plate at a time by serving organic and non-GMO plant-based healthy fast foods. Soulgood now has evolved to serve vegan and vegetarian fast foods from its first interactive eco-friendly food truck which launched November 6, 2016 in Dallas, Texas. The company has one full-time employee, two part-time chefs, and 7 certified team members. Soulgood offers unique organic vegan and vegetarian food truck and catering services across the state of Texas.
